Yamatane Family Tour, a set on Flickr.

Animated by Swiss Carole Glauser Pidoux and French/American Sophie Fort (Les z’ateliers de sophie), the family tour organized for the Yamatane Museum in Tokyo offered a unique experience for children and adults to learn about two great nihonga artists: Kokei and Togyu.
Presentation of pigments (in trays) was a great way to get a grasp of how the nihonga painters work. The museum also made the children benefit from a video projection of the Naruto maelstrom to illustrate one of Togyu’s famous paintings.

Be one of the lucky ones for a next visit! In French or in English!
