As Osaka’s National Museum of Ethnology celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2014, The National Art Center presents this collaborative exhibition that focuses on the Osaka museum’s expansive art collection. Featuring over 600 pieces from all over the world, ranging from ancient figurines and masks to works of contemporary art, the show aims to present and reflect on the shared creative power of humanity, tracing the birth and evolution of culture from a variety of angles.
